In-Company Presentation Skills Masterclass – In Person/Virtual

This highly interactive live online masterclass is for those who wish to improve how they prepare for and deliver presentations. While the focus is mainly on virtual presentations – the skills gained on this programme are relevant to any situation where you have to communicate verbally. This means that tools, techniques and skills are transferrable to help the attendees to communicate with added impact in face-to-face presentations.

It is suitable for those who already have some experience presenting but want to bring their skills to the next level..

On completion of this 1 day virtual programme, your group will be able to:

This live online programme is participatory, fast-moving and will focus on the attendees learning through discovery rather than “lecture-style” delivery.
We deliver via Zoom, using a variety of interactive digital tools and delivery techniques to make this virtual programme varied and engaging.

These include:

• Breakout rooms to allow participants to discuss topics in small groups
• Online polls and interactive noticeboard for brainstorming and gathering ideas
• Several opportunities for attendees to contribute formally and ad hoc
• Opportunity for each attendee to do a very short introductory virtual presentation
• Individual reflection time
• 1 to 1 personalised feedback to each individual on their short introductory virtual presentation

Before the programme, we send the participants a link to our video platform where they will answer a few short questions to gauge their current skill level.

During the brief one to one feedback we highlight what is being done well and identify an area for improvement. We give very specific instructions on how to achieve this improvement.

Following the course, they will be given lifetime access to a client only area on our website where we share helpful videos, books, talks, blogs, and in-depth downloadable programme notes.

On this masterclass we get your team on their feet several times throughout the day. We do this by spending less time on theory and more time on learning by doing.

Prior to the course, we send all the attendees a few short questions, which they answer via our video platform. This means, even though it is a group course, we know the needs of each individual. Having this information helps the facilitator to coach each person on their own specific needs.

How Do We Do It?

This programme is highly interactive, fast-moving and will have each person in the group on their feet, at least 4 times throughout the day. While there is an overall atmosphere of fun there is also a serious amount of learning taking place.

Very early in the day they will deliver a short presentation which is videoed. After they have presented they receive brief one to one feedback, in a separate room. During the feedback we look at what is working well, but we will also highlight what specifically is detracting from the impact. Throughout the day, each attendee is being coached on their specific issues, while they are on their feet and off camera.

Towards the end of the day, they each present a second time and again receive feedback.

During this 2 day masterclass we get your team on their feet 4 times presenting to video. We spend less time on theory and more time on learning by doing.

This masterclass is high energy, high impact, and moves at a fast pace. We spend the minimum time on theory and the maximum time getting them on their feet, both on and off camera.

Before attending the masterclass, we send out a link to our innovative video platform. The participants are asked a few short questions, which they answer via the video platform.  This helps them get some clarity on what they would like to achieve during the programme.  This means that even though this is a group course, the facilitator will focus on the needs of each trainee as an individual.

How Do We Do It?

This masterclass is challenging, participatory, and will have your team on their feet frequently over the 2 days – both on and off camera. While there is an overall atmosphere of fun there is also a serious amount of learning taking place. They will be videoed briefly, 4 times over the 2 days. Every time they deliver a presentation to camera, they have the opportunity to practice a different presentation structure which they can re-use in their future presentations.

They receive one to one feedback on their presentations, in a separate room. Each time they receive feedback we look at their strengths and identify what specifically is detracting or distracting.

They each have opportunities to be coached on their specific challenges when they are on their feet and off camera. By this consistent coaching approach we build on their skills and turn them into high impact presenters.
